London-born Gill Knappett works as an editor and, when time allows, as a writer. She lives in Hampshire with her husband Geoff and dog Toby.
In Walk London she is delighted to combine two main passions – England’s capital city and walking.
Gill loves all the walks in Walk London and there is no one personal favourite, but she particularly enjoyed the contrasting faces of the city: from the bustle of ‘Horse Guards and Heroes’ (Walk 6) to the tranquility of ‘A Princely Path to Primrose Hill’ (Walk 12); from the more lengthy experience of ‘A Pirate’s Path to Docklands’ (Walk 14) – during which her claim to fame is she came across Graham Norton – to (being female) the obvious attractions of ‘West End Shoppers’ Paradise’ (Walk 8).
